INSTRUCTION FOR ADMISSION

ADMISSION COUNSELLING

  • Before applying for the admission in any course, candidates shall ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for admission.
  • Application Platform: All applicants must submit the admission application online through the official Chancellor Portal of Jharkhand at jharkhanduniversities.nic.in. Candidates are expected to fill out the correct information.
  • Cost of application for all category candidates is ₹400/-.
  • If a candidate wishes to apply for more than one course, a separate application form must be submitted for each course.
  • Admission to different courses shall be based on a merit list prepared from marks obtained in Intermediate (for UG admission) or Graduation (for PG level), along with Interview marks. In the case of a tie, older candidates (by DOB) will be ranked higher.
  • Admission shall be considered final only when the student meets all eligibility criteria.
  • All students will be admitted provisionally until their registration is completed. Failure to submit required documents or not meeting criteria may result in automatic cancellation. False or misleading information will also lead to cancellation at any stage.
  • Applications after the last date will generally not be entertained unless under exceptional cases where seats remain vacant.
  • Ensure the information entered in the Chancellor Portal is accurate and complete before submission.
  • Incomplete, incorrect, or multiple submissions may lead to rejection of the application.
  • Candidates should regularly check the official JRSU website and Chancellor Portal for admission updates and deadlines.
  • After submission, candidates must download and keep a copy of the submitted application form and payment receipt for future reference.
  • Admission fees must be paid as per the Chancellor Portal guidelines within the stipulated time to confirm participation in the process.
  • Any discrepancy during document verification or counselling may result in cancellation of admission.
  • The University reserves the right to modify admission procedures, important dates, or eligibility criteria without prior notice.
  • Ragging or any form of malpractice during the admission process or academic tenure will invite strict legal and disciplinary action.

CAREER OPPORTUNITY AND EMPLOYABILITY

After completing the graduation course a student may prefer to go for higher studies in the select field.

The students after successful completion of the course will get weightage in recruitment in police department of the Govt. of Jharkhand depending upon the academic performance of the student as per the circular no 16@fu0&07@2017 6004] dated 08-11-2017 issuedby Dept. of Home, Jail and Disaster Management (Home), Govt. of Jharkhand.

SCHOLARSHIP

Students of OBC, ST, SC will be eligible for scholarship benefits as per the scheme of the Govt.

UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

The University has a provision of providing scholarship to deserving students.
