The Department of Disaster Management equips the students with policies, research and both theoretical and practical skills to address the issues.

Admission
The admission to all the courses shall be based on merit basis on the marks obtained in qualifying examination.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Management (PGDDM)
Admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Management is open for candidates who has:
(a) Bachelor’s Degree (under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1-year bridge course or 15 years of formal education) in any discipline (Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering & Technology, Medicines etc.) form recognised College/ Institute/ University.
(b) Obtained a minimum aggregate percentage of 50 % (for ST/SC percentage of 40%).
(c) Any other examination recognised by the University, equivalent to (a & b).
(d) Any working government servant or industry sponsored candidates (no age limit).
