Overview
The Department of Forensic Science was established in 2016 to teach the next generation about forensic science. Our department's vision is achieved through imparting quality education towards the vast field of forensics. Our faculty puts forth the best possible efforts to focus on the proper technical skills along with soft skills and life skills that help them face the world confidently and with high self-esteem. The faculty is committed to enriching their skills through continual higher education and research. The department conducts seminars, workshops, conferences, and various programmes for faculty and student advancement.

We are committed to developing skilled forensic professionals who uphold justice by applying rigorous scientific methods and critical thinking to criminal and civil investigations.

Admission
The admission to all the course in the University shall be decided on merit basis on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
Admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) in Forensic Science (BFS)
Admission to 1st Semester BFS shall be open to a person who has passed
(a) +2 Examinations from Science stream securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
(b) Any other examination recognized by the University, equivalent to (a) as given above with requisite percentage of marks.
Admission to M.Sc.in Forensic Science (MFS)
Admission to 1st Semester M.Sc. in Forensic Science shall be open to a person who has passed Graduation Course in Science conducted by any recognized Universities securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
