The Central Library, Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University is invaluable sources of information for students, faculty members of the University. The library has specialized collection of Books, E- Books in various subjects related to Internal Security. It also subscribes to various newspapers, periodicals, and magazines. By studying these materials, teachers and students are developing their intellectual and creative abilities.

Mission:

The mission of the Central Library (CL), JRSU, Ranchi is to provide inclusive, innovative, and exceptional information services and resources that support the academic success, and lifelong learning of the university community. The university library having following mission to achieve the vision:

• i) Acquisition of subject wise print books, Journals, Magazines, News Papers etc.
• ii) Acquisition of subject wise databases (e-books, e-journals etc.)
• iii) Installation of RFID system based on KOHA ILMS.
• iv) Installation of Remote Access Service (24*7).
• v) Installation of High speed Internet connectivity with LAN in the library.
• vi) Specious library to implement of different section of library such as acquisition section, Accession section, Circulation Section, Thesis’s & Dissertation Section, Binding Section, Reprographic Section, Reading Room section (Students and Faculty Members), Property Counter Section, Digital Library Section, Technical section (Classification & Cataloguing), Periodical/Serial Section, Institutional Repository Section, Computer Lab Section to access online and digital library resources etc
